From Angry:-

I WOULD like know who was responsible for authorising the recent white lining and marking of parking bays throughout Hoylake's Market Street and surrounding roads during the recent water main repairs.

I do feel that the person concerned should be brought to task as he must have been party to, or at the very least had access to information concerning the planned major repairs to the water main, which currently show signs of affecting these newly marked areas, as in fact they already have done outside Midland Bank.

In this age of technology, isn't it about time that Wirral got its act together, and set up a scheme whereby ALL the utilities and local council work departments liaise with each other to prevent this dreadful waste of resources, manpower and the Wirral public's time spent on the receiving end of such works?

If the council's response is, 'North West Water will have to make good any repairs necessary to return the highway to its prior condition,' - this will not wash. Either way we, the public, be we NWW customers or local tax payers, have had to pay for this job to be carried out twice in close succession due to their short-sightedness.
