From B.A. Develing:-
I KNOW I speak for many people when I wonder why it appears that apparently there is going to be NO bus shelter erected for passengers on the No 5 bus services that utilise the bus stop on Boundary Road, New Ferry? This is a very busy location and, especially with the cold Winter weather approaching, shouldn't something be done?
Conflicting reports have been heard regarding the lack of shelter and I myself have noticed that idea has been bricked-over and the blue tubes removed, indicating to me that there is to be no shelter built. Yet outside Suzy Q's there is a shelter that nobody ever uses. What is going on?
Is the authority concerned going mad? We are asked to shop locally - what sort of incentive is this? Perhaps a shelter could be erected by the bowling green?
