THREE Leasowe men charged with violent disorder following the death of Wirral man Duncan Crane in Yew Tree Road in the early hours of New Year's Day have had that charge dropped for lack of evidence.
Jason Robert Rutter, aged 24, of Drake Road; Allan Sid Johnston, 18, of Twickenham Drive, and Dean Patrick Waters, also 18, of Baffin Close, have received a Notice of Discontinuance from the Crown Prosecution Service.
A fourth Leasowe man has been charged with the murder of Mr Crane.
