HYUNDAI Car (UK) Ltd have introduced an addition to the highly-popular three-door Coupe range - the Coupe 1.6 SE.

Since the launch in September 1996 the Hyundai Coupe has been a runaway success. With total sales to date of just under 10,000 units, it has outsold competition and sales were boosted by the introduction of the 1.6-litre engine in July 1997.

Now the Korean company are offering luxuries on the 1.6 engine model previously only available at the top end of the range. The new Coupe 1.6 SE is based on the current 1.6i but also comes equipped with air conditioning, leather upholstery, 15" alloy wheels and a Sony CD player, at just £15,399 on-the-road. Prices for the 1.6i remain unchanged at £14,024.

For those wanting higher performance the Coupe 2.0 SE continues to offer unrivalled quality and value with this range-topping model. In addition to the 1.6 SE it boasts cruise control, electric tilt and slide sunroof plus a powerful 137 bhp output.

All Coupes have driver's airbag, power steering, central locking, rear spoiler, engine immobiliser plus three year's unlimited mileage warranty and three year's RAC roadside assistance.
