From Doreen Pike:-
I WOULD like to present two large bouquets . . .
Firstly, to the cleaners of the ladies toilets, one at Charing Cross, the other by the market. Both are extremely clean and fresh smelling and attended to by the staff.
Secondly, to the council gardeners.
"And so my heart with pleasure fills
and dances with the daffodils."
It is a pleasure to walk along Duck Pond Lane to the shops. It is beautiful and the grass is so green and well cut and in the distance one can see the Welsh Hills. Who would want to live anywhere else?
My grateful thanks to all concerned.
Talbot Road,
Oxton.
