From Andrew Jones:-
FURTHER to P.W.'s letter (Mailbox, March 3) regarding the ignorance of some dog owners and the mess they leave on the pavement in Waterpark Road, Prenton.
I can't vouch for other side roads, but Cambridge Road (off Waterpark Road) is also blighted by the same filth and inconsideration. The playgroup my son attends is only a short distance away, yet we have to guide him through a maze of dog dirt to get there.
May I remind these people that not only is this problem illegal, it is also a health hazard. If the offending dog owners can't understand the strength of feeling generated by this subject, and can't foresee any problem, may I suggest they make their gardens available for all dogs to use as toilets?
We will be happy and presumably they will have no objections, either.
I wonder if the penny has dropped now?
