sports bike

unleashed!

SUZUKI'S new headline-hitting sports bike, the GSX1300R Hayabusa, is proving to be faster than promised with the first delivery of machines in the UK barely touching dealer showroom floors.

Since its world debut in Munich last year, there has been much speculation about the performance of the new Suzuki, however, like its agile namesake, the 175bhp Hayabusa offers so much more. Its smooth, manageable power, firm suspension, dependable braking and confidence-inspiring handling combine to produce an effortless high-performance machine with real all-round abilities.

Wind tunnel tested, with a rider in place, the Suzuki Hayabusa is a work of aerodynamic art. It uses the wind to boost engine performance with a unique version of Suzuki Ram Air Direct which positions ram-air intakes near to the centre of the noise fairing where the air pressure is highest.

The new two-stage fuel injection system also works efficiently to improve the power, throttle response, flexibility and fuel consumption of the machine and automatically adjusts the throttle openings for optimum performance at both slow speeds and at hard-revving top speeds.
