IN a daring mid morning stunt, Citroen pulled off one of the motoring sensations of the decade by driving its famous pyramid of Xantias down London's Regent Street.

Stunned passers-by were amazed at the spectacle of 10 Citroen Xantias as they manoueuvred their way through central London in preparation for the first leg of a nationwide tour of city centres. To celebrate the coup, the Xantias also performed a 'lap of honour' around Piccadilly Circus, before the pyramid was escorted out of London.

Lead driver and film stuntman Dave 'Mad Dog' McWilliams, said: "The stunt took months of careful planning to select a high profile route without low bridges. We are now looking to expand this British Tour to the rest of Europe, it's just a matter of getting the pyramid through the Channel Tunnel.
