WIRRAL hairdresser Marian Gallagher (pictured here with model Kerry Sinnett) is at the cutting edge of her career after securing a place in a national competition.
The 21-year-old stylist, who works in Wirral hairdressers Ian Henry, competed against 50 other young stylists in a prestigious contest to win the chance to work with Wella on photo shoots at their Manchester studio.
The salon director at Ian Henry's Seaview Road branch in Wallasey created an unusual pink spikey hairstyle to demonstrate her cutting and colouring skills.
Said Marian: "I was delighted to get through to the final. It was a great opportunity for me and I can't wait to find out how I've done."
Keeping his fingers crossed for Marian is Ian Henry, director of Ian Henry hairdressers, who commented: "Marian is very creative and is full of wonderful ideas."
