MORI pollsters are calling on eight hundred residents in the Neston and Ellesmere Port areas on behalf of the local authority to find out what the priorities are in the community.
As well as looking for information on how householders rate the main services, EP and Neston Council want to know how resources can be spent. The survey also explores how residents can become more involved in council activities and what they expect from their local councillor.
There are also questions directed to council house dwellers. The survey will go on until April 18.
A council spokesman said: "This is probably the most comphrensive survey of its kind conducted in Neston. Findings should be published in June."
NESTON High Schools raised £1,000 on Red Nose Day by paying not to wear school uniform. Some pupils came as clowns, Hippies and other fancy dress characters.
On a sporting note, three girls were successful in the Under 13's inter-county hockey tournament. They were Claire Barnes, Kate Evans and Michelle Dalrymple.
NESTON is a site chosen by Cheshire County Council to plant one of 50 oak trees to mark 50 years of human rights. School children helped plant it near the entrance to Neston High School.
