OVER £400 has been raised so far for the Claire House Singing Challenge, taking place at the Tranmere Park public house in Birkenhead.
There are six more heats to go, plus two semi-finals and a final, over the coming weeks, taking place tonight and every Wednesday from 9pm. Licensee of the Tranmere Park Tommy Sadler would still like to hear from solo artists or groups who would like to take part in the challenge and raise much-needed funds for Claire House Children's Hospice.
Winners of the first two included trio Back for Good and solo artist Carrie Nichol.
