TERENCE Anthony Weedall, aged 35, of Woodward Road, Rock Ferry, has been remanded in custody for four weeks by Wirral magistrates charged with raping a 32-year-old woman at Birkenhead on March 19. A bail application was unsuccessful.
WIRRAL magistrates further remanded Edward Andrew Darrigan, 39, of Knowsley Court, Rock Ferry, in custody for four weeks charged with the murder of 42-year-old Susan Allsop in February. Solicitor John Ballam asked for time to go through committal papers. Custody time limits were extended to May 7.
