MERSEYTRAVEL has been given a top award for its work in making the network accessible to visually impaired people.

Agony Aunt Claire Rayner presented the prestigious Royal National Institute for the Blind 'See It Right' award at a ceremony in London.

The prize recognised the company's work in Braille and audio information, tapes helping people participate in advisory panels and the Merseytravel Line information staff.
