WALLASEY-based Daryl Industries presented two local charities with cheques for £2,500 each following 12 months of fund raising. During 1998 the company's charity committee raised exclusively for Wirral's Children's Cancer Support Group and Wallasey Age Concern, whose cash will help restore the Lonsdale Centre garden, currently a wilderness. The committee works through the year organising events and taking part in the Wirral Coastal Walk, Liverpool Half-Marathon. In '99 beneficiaries will be Claire House and St John's Hospice.
