WINNER of the Claire House Challenge Battle of the Stars contest was Neil from popular Wirral duo Back for Good.
The competition, run by the Tranmere Park public house, proved very popular and raised £2,000 for Claire House Children's Hospice. Neil wooed the females in the audience with his rendition of Tom Jones's hits. Duo Chardonnay were second, with Francesca and Terry Madison joint third.
Licensee of the Tranmere Park Tommy Sadler said the final night proved to be a great success and would like to thank all artists who took part in the heats. There is a charity stars in their eyes competition starting shortly. Watch this space for details!
