SEACATS and Seabirds on the Mersey. The modern Isle of Mann fast ferry salutes Seabird class sailing boats celebrating 100 years at Wallasey Yacht Club's annual regatta.
With Superseacat, the 50mph Liverpool Dublin catamaran, this fast cat just purred out of the Mersey mindful not to rock the little boats.
There will be lots of smaller boats to be seen during the annual Mersey River Festival June 18 to 21.
On Marine Lake, there is a canoe race sponsored by Mike Jones Sailing School, New Brighton. Equipment provided, ring 691-0941 for details.
