RIGHT on cue, that's Eastham Home Guard Snooker team who have won the Merseyside ABA Championship Bowl for the first time in their history, when they defeated Huyton Constitutional Club in the final.
The prestigious event dates back to 1957, and the Wirral team beat some of the best teams in Liverpool on their way to victory.
