PORT Sunlight lost and the other three local sides drew in close Bromborough Paints Merseyside Cricket Competition matches in Division One. Caldy now lead Sutton by just seven points.

In Division Two Birkenhead St Mary's have a two points advantage at the top over Parkfield and Nalgo. Birkenhead Park drew on Saturday. Wirral Mersey Park were the only local winners with defeats for Eastham Bromborough, Parkfield and Tranmere Vics.
