From 'Fed Up Ratepayer':-
WHY were hundreds of Wallasey residents like myself subjected to the appalling noise from Vale Park on July 11?
This infernal cacophony was entitled, I believe, 'Rhythm and Blues' - it certainly gave the blues to everyone living within a two mile radius of the park, and turned what could have been a pleasant Sunday afternoon into a hellish din. Even many young people said that they couldn't bear the racket.
What makes it worse is that we council tax payers are funding this sort of thing. It comes under the aegis of Wallasey Regeneration, but sounds more like Degeneration to me.
Should not public money be devoted to more worthy causes?
