A NUMBER of Merseyside and Wirral yachts will be taking part in the Menai Strait Fortnight which begins on Monday.
Royal Mersey and Wallasey will host regattas at Beaumaris during the second week, with Wallasey Seabirds joining up with craft from Wales for the class centenary.

Teams from abroad used the Marine Lake for practice last week for the World Team Racing Championship in Ireland being staged this week. Spinnaker, representing Britain, were facing opposition from 18 other countries.
