BIRKENHEAD Branch of The Royal British Legion raised a record total of £19,331 for last year's Poppy Appeal. "We thank the people of Birkenhead for their efforts," said Mr T. McKenna, Honorary Poppy Appeal Organiser at the Birkenhead Branch, Park Road East.
