WIRRAL Methodist Housing Association has been 'Commended' by the Empty Homes Agency, a national organisation highlighting the wasted resource of empty accommodation in the country, for its work in the regeneration of the Market Street area of Birkenhead through its 'Living Over The Shop' programme of converting empty floors above shops back into use as high quality flat schemes.
