MEMBERS of Grange and Newton Evening Townswomen's Guild were given a talk entitled 'The Centenary of the Commercial Gramophone Recording' by Mr Albert Howell at their last meeting.
Next Guild meeting, after the Summer recess, is on September 16 at St Michael's Church Hall (8pm), when Mr Alan Welch will talk on 'Tracing One's Family Tree'.
