AFTER 30 years of hard work and dedication, the Birkenhead and Bebington branch of the British Heart Foundation, led by chairman Olive Perry, is set to retire.
The branch has raised £200,000 over the years, funding research into the prevention, effective diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
If anybody is interested in supporting British Heart Foundation or forming a new branch, they are asked to ring Lucy Renwick, Area Organiser, on 283-7568.
Bargain-hunters please note: The Foundation's shop in Birkenhead town centre is staying open for business.
