The new bike is a distinctive red and silver aluminium Royce Union Polt, belonging to 14-year-old Anthony Smith.
"I'm absolutely disgusted that a thing like this could happen," said mother Tracey. "We have had trouble with vandals in this area recently and all my trees were damaged. I'm just appealing if anyone has seen the bike or knows any information, because my son is distraught. Could they please contact me on 200-7764."
