AT BIRKENHEAD Sixth Form College over 300 candidates achieved a 91 per cent pass rate in their A level results.
There were 851 A-E grades and 462 A-C grades. Steven Downey and Gareth Smith will be going to Oxford to study History and Computer Studies respectively. Jon Rylands achieved one of the five top marks in the country in A level Sport Studies out of 4,225 candidates.
