AT West Kirby Grammar School 145 A level candidates achieved a pass rate of 95 per cent (excluding General Studies) with top grades accounting for 49 per cent. Heather Barber was awarded five subjects at grade A, and S grades for outstanding performance in Chemistry and Mathematics. Sarah Putwain gained four Advanced and one Advanced Supplementary level, all at grade A, and a commendation from the examining board as one of the top five Biology students. Jessica Feely, Elizabeth Nolan, Chloe Sheppick and Lucy Smith gained four A grades.

YEAR 11 students at West Kirby Grammar have again achieved excellent results in their GCSEs. Over 50 per cent of all grades awarded were at A* or A. Sarah Appleton and Kerri Powner were awarded at A* in all 10 subjects taken. Other high achievers include Claire Lamont and Laura D'Cruz with 9 A* and Jessica Fisher, Hannah Lomas, Suzanne Kinnear, Kathryn Hughes and Catriona Clark with 8 A*s. The overall pass rate at grades A-C was 98 per cent.
