MOSTYN HOUSE School has been celebrating its best ever haul of A*-C grades - 81 per cent.

Even more pleasing for the school was the success of the Year 10 students who sat GCSE Maths a year early, achieving 100 per cent A*-C grades.

Of the 257 subjects taken, an average of 8.5 per student, 100 per cent were A*-F."

Two notable sets of grades were achieved by Emily Frostick and Elinor Taylor. They built on the success of their A*s in French, which they sat last year in Year 10, by adding 10 A*s, 5 As and 1 B between them.
