WEST Kirby finished sixth overall in the West Lancashire Yacht Club 24 hour Dinghy Race at Southport. Hoylake were 60th, Wallasey 67th and West Cheshire, 72nd.
The closing races at Royal Mersey were taken by Phil Bastow in the Mylnes and Jeremy Tetley in the Squibs.
Dee Sailing Club won the Commodores Cup Invitation Race staged by Liverpool Yacht Club on the Mersey. Hoylake were second and Wallasey third.
Liverpool series races were claimed by Richard Booth in Nod's New Car, Warwick Telfer in Clarevoyant and Geoff Nelson in Lady Dorothy.
