WIRRAL angler John Waugh leads the North West Association of Sea Angling Clubs' Personal Members' Championship after six rounds.
In the latest match, in the low water Rock Channel, fourth place was enough to keep John, of Wallasey, ahead overall.
The match was won by Bootle's Joe Perry. Kevin Martland, of Wallasey, came third to remain second overall.
