From Joan Kelly:-

MY DAUGHTER and I were travelling on the M53 near Woodchurch on Friday, September 17 when we were involved in a horrid smash. My daughter's car was a total write-off. So was the other car.

We escaped with minor injuries - cuts and bruises and terrible shock - and for this we sincerely thank God.

Six young men who were playing football at Woodchurch risked their lives to come to our aid.

They displayed wonderful courage and came to our aid without any thought for their own safety. They stayed with us until we were taken away by ambulance.

To these young men, we express our sincere thanks for their extreme bravery. May God bless you all.

We read of so many people these days condemning our youth, but very few bother to praise them on occasions like this. It was like music from Heaven to hear their voices of concern that night - we will never forget them.

We would also like to thank Bromborough Police and the Paramedics for their quick attendance and care.

God bless you all.
