The first of the two luxury multiplexes to open, on Friday, November 19, is a seven screen, 1,800 seat cinema at Conway Park in Birkenhead.

On Friday, December 17, the 15-screen, 3,000 seat Warner Village Multiplex at The Coliseum, Cheshire Oaks - just off the M53 at Ellesmere Port in South Wirral - is launched, followed just one month later, on January 14, 2000, by the introduction of an Iwerks Extreme Screen attraction.

To ensure all movie fans experience the very best in big screen entertainment, the cinemas are equipped with the world's most advanced digital audio/visual technology.

Their revolutionary architectural style, based on a real-life Hollywood sound stage where giant models of the legendary Looney Tunes characters overlook the main foyer area, is designed to bring customers closer to the magical world of movie-making than ever before.

Premiere-size screens are complemented by stadium seating with computer generated sight lines guaranteeing everyone enjoys an uninterrupted view of their movie.

And Warner's unique 'Love Seats' with retractable arm rests are sure to thrill all movie lovers!

While the seven-screen multiplex at Conway Park will cater perfectly for film fans in Birkenhead and its neighbouring communities, the 15-screen cinema at The Coliseum, Cheshire Oaks, is expected to attract audiences from a wide catchment area.

With its strategic location on the M53, directly alongside the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Village, the multiplex will welcome film fans throughout Wirral, Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and parts of Greater Manchester.

The Iwerks Extreme Screen attraction is expected to be quickly established as a national landmark and visited not only by residents in the neighbouring counties, but by tourists from all over the UK.

Into the new Millennium . . . . fasten your senses and hang onto your popcorn . . . . you're in for the cinematic ride of your life when Warner Village launches its unique Iwerks Extreme Screen attraction at The Coliseum, Cheshire Oaks.

With seating for 300 people, the Iwerks attraction features a spectacular 60ft high screen supported with pure digital sync-sound, providing a thrilling 2D or 3D cinematic experience.

This groundbreaking innovation offers the biggest, grandest film images in the world. It's truly immersive!
