CHESHIRE FA Amateur Cup action in the Wallasey & District Sunday Football League saw Great Float Social come back from 0-2 down to beat FC Greasby 4-2. Robbie Gerrard fired a hat-trick and Jon Sanderson netted the third with a great individual effort.

In a curtailed league programme due to the weather, Pilot Boat moved into fourth place in Division One after a 6-1 win over Atlantis Gym. Steve Langrell, 3, Steve Gunn, Simon McDonald and Mark Henry were on target. La Banque drew 2-2 with Sandridge (Brian Stevenson and Mark Yates).

Only two games survived the weather in Division Two as Black Horse claimed pole position with a 3-0 win over Bird In Hand (Stuart Marl, Phil Magee and Paul Sharrocks penalty).
