Ben scores for Shelter
WIRRAL South MP Ben Chapman joined thousands of people nationwide by casting aside his ordinary working clothes to wear his football shirt. Mr Chapman took part in Strip 4 Shelter day to help raise money for homeless charity Shelter.
Old Boys' reunion
BEBINGTON Old Boys' Association are holding their 12th reunion dinner for former pupils of New Chester Road School, New Ferry, on Saturday, October 16 at The Merebrook, Bromborough.
PARENTS, governors, staff and pupils of St John's RC Infants School, Bebington, are celebrating their recent Ofsted and Diocesian reports which have both sung the school's praises.
Headteacher Catherine Frost said: "The report confirms that the school is living up to its motto: 'Celebrating Learning'."
