PERSONALITIES from television, Parliament, football and the comedy world paid a visit to Claire House Children's Hospice in Bebington last week as part of National Children's Awareness week.
A signed Liverpool FC football raised a superb £5,000 for Claire House and characters such as the legendary Norman Wisdom, Ken Dodd, Gerry Marsden and Stan Boardman have all shown their support by visiting the hospice.
Claire House looks after terminally ill children from Merseyside, North Wales, Cheshire and the Isle of Man. Claire House needs £800,000 a year to keep running, and they are looking forward to going from strength to strength in the Millennium.
