PUPILS at Wirral Grammar School for Boys yesterday presented a cheque for more than £7,000 to Clatterbridge Cancer Research, its chosen main charity. In recent years, the school has donated £4,000 to Claire House and more than £5,500 to Alder Hey Children's Hospital's Rocking Horse Appeal. "Over the last three years, the school has managed to raise in the region of nearly £20,000 for a range of charities - a phenomenal achievement," said Headmaster Mr A. Cooper.
