RESIDENTS of Hoylake and West Kirby will have a firework display this year! Hoylake and West Kirby Round Table and Rotary clubs have joined forces with Wirral Council to present a fireworks spectacular on Saturday, November 6 on land next to West Kirby Football Club in Greenbank Road. Fireworks worth £3,000 will go up in smoke. Further details will be announced shortly.
Hoylake's heritage
HOYLAKE'S heritage is on display this month - and the campaigning group responsible are hoping residents will flock to see it. The exhibition, The Heritage of Hoylake, can be seen at Hoylake Library until the end of October. Organisers Hoylake Heritage Working Group have secured a meeting with the Conservation Officer to present a case for a Conservation Area for Hoylake.
