POLICE are appealing for a man, seen shortly before an attack on a Wirral pensioner, to come forward. The 70-year-old man was attacked in his Hoylake home and tied up on October 2 just after 8pm. The attacker stole cash and a car. The man police want to speak to is described as white, in his early 20s, around six feet tall and of slim build with short-cropped dark hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit top, dark trousers and trainers. Police are also appealing for details of any sightings of a red Renault Saloon RT Turbo Diesel car, registration L 28 SHF.
