A NESTON man whose mother died of cancer 18 months ago has raised £200 in her memory. Kelvin Anyon and his fiancee, Jane Palmer, with help from friends and local businesses, organised a fundraising event at The Boathouse, Parkgate.
Kelvin, who lives in Jonson Road, said: "It was hard work, but definitely worth it if it helps other people. I don't want to see anyone go through what my mother went through."
The £200 for Imperial Cancer Research included the proceeds of a prize draw which was supported by 'Not Sushi', Radio One, Cancer Research and Dimensions Hairdressers, Little Neston. Kelvin thanks all who supported the evening.
