EIGHTEEN-year-old Hannah Goodwin, of Hoylake, joins over 800 young people from all over Britain when she pays a visit to St James's Palace, London, tomorrow (Thursday) to receive the coveted Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
Hannah achieved her award through West Kirby Grammar School. Projects undertaken included a four day, three night expedition around Snowdonia, deep to the knees in snow in North Wales.
Other activities included playing the violin, yoga for physical recreation and a residential project when she helped restore a pond and build footpaths.
