WIRRAL youngsters are being encouraged to get active during half-term by taking part in sports camps.
The council's Sports Development Unit has organised all kinds of sports events for boys and girls.
A Soccer Camp for eight to 12-year-olds is being held at Guinea Gap Baths and Recreation Centre on October 27, 9am-11am. Boys and girls can swim for half-price during their visit.
A Mini Athletics Camp is taking place at Guinea Gap on October 27, 1.30pm-3.30pm, featuring running, throwing, jumping and half-price swimming. Oldershaw Upper School hosts a sports camp on October 29, 10am-3pm, for eight to 15-year-olds. The camps cost £1.50 for the sessions at Guinea Gap and £2 for Oldershaw.
