Road test by Steve Hunter

I have just enjoyed a drive of luxury in a Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 Auto from Village Motor Company.

Village Motor Company is a success based on trust and sell quality used cars at their sites in Wallasey Village and Leasowe Road. Following the growing success of their service centre in Cross Lane, Wallasey, this has given Village Motor Company extra space to stock cars.

I was given the opportunity to test drive an executive Vauxhall Omega from Sales Director Patrick Hardman at Village Motor Company. Set in star silver metallic this R-registration (1998) Vauxhall Omega is available for £12,450.

The Omega is a lot of car for the money too with a whole host of extras. With only 29,000 miles on the clock, this stunning car features alloys, power steering, leather steering wheel, driver and passenger airbag, full electric pack on windows and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, triple master, automatic gearbox with sportronic mode, trip computer display. In car entertainment is provided by a stereo radio/cassette with volume and change channel controls at the steering wheel. Interior is executive too with head rests in front and rear.

The 2.5-litre V6 engine delivers a top speed of 132mph, achieving 0-60mph in 9.3 seconds. Acceleration of the Omega is superb and the 2.5-litre V6 engine kicks in to the full. A superb ride with entertaining rear wheel drive handling.

Village Motor Company is a success based on trust. Contact them at Wallasey Village site, phone 639-8810, and Leasowe Road, Moreton, phone 604-1393.
