MILLHOUSE grounded out their best result of the season so far in the Wallasey & District Sunday Football League Premier Division, when they slaughtered St Mary's 11-0.
Gary Edwards, Darren Murphy and Keith Gregory all grabbed hat-tricks, with Derek Fawkes and Paul Cubik also on target. A Mike Pickles hat-trick gave Old Bank a 3-0 win over Great Float Social, while St Joseph's (Tommy Quirk, 2, Keith Giles) shared the spoils with arch rivals St Joseph's in a 3-3 draw.
Wirral Amateur Cup second round action saw La Banque (Barry Clarke, 2, Tim Power) go through with a 3-1 win against Shelbourne Evans, while Stuart Tuffin hit five as Poulton Vics Social beat Club Octel 7-0. Gary Climo and Mark Kee also scored.
Sandridge (James Lee Walters, Aiden Walters and Brian Stevenson) beat Morton Arms 3-2.
Windsor went nap in Division One against Atlantis Gym, winning 5-0 with goals from Lee Hollywood, 2, Brian Laycock, 2, and Greg Reilly. King's Arms (Andy Leyland, 2, Jason Smyth, Sean Youds and Dave Charlesworth) romped home 5-2 against The Saddle to go fourth.
Come-back of the day was in Division Two, where Seaview (Steve Mole, 2, Chris Hatton, Adam Adamson and Nick Smith) overcame a 1-3 deficit to record a 5-4 victory over unlucky Five Bars Rest, who had Wes Warrington, with two penalties, Tommy Walker and Paul Hawkins on target.
