COUNCILLOR Harry Smith's letter (Mailbox, October 13) aimed at the Headmaster of Birkenhead School was unnecessarily sarcastic and infantile in its essence.
Action to make roads safer usually occurs after a death, so I hope Coun. Smith would be prepared to discuss the matter of priorities with the deceased child's parents, whoever they may be.
