BIRKENHEAD Trampoline Club enjoyed a successful day at the Merseyside Trampoline Championships at Birkenhead Sports Centre.

The club won six of the seven girls' titles, having not entered the under-10 category, and three of the seven boys' titles.

Jill Wilson finished third in the under-15 girls and Bobby Dillon took second place in the under-15 boys. They are now eligible to qualify for the 'B' grade National Championships in November.

Medals were also won by Jayne Whalley, who finished second in the over-18 girls 'C' grade, and Helen Speechley, who was third in the under-18 girls 'C' grade.
