SOUTH Wirral High School has been commended for its sporting excellence by receiving the prestigious national award Sportsmark.
The school were rewarded for the quality and range of sports in their physical education curriculum and the extensive extra-curicular activities the department provides for students.
South Wirral High School is totally committed to developing all aspects of physical education and community sport within school and in the area.
To gain the highly acclaimed Sportsmark award, members of the British Associates of of advisers and lecturers in physical education scrutinised every aspect of the school's physical education department. They found that both teachers and students were committed to excellence in sport and physical excellence at the school.
