FIVE men re-appeared before Wirral magistrates after incidents which led to the death of 22-year-old Rock Ferry man Brian Jones.
Barry James Owens, 29, of Victoria Terrace, Isle of Man, is charged with murdering Jones and also wounding Darren Hindley with intent.
Hindley, 18, of Thorsway, Lee Matthew Robinson, 29, of Strathlorne Close, Paul Lewis, 22, of Byrne Avenue, all Rock Ferry, and Kenneth Hayden, 20, of Fern Grove, Noctorum, are charged with violent disorder. All were conditionally bailed pending committal proceedings.
