OUR 'Let's Face It Together' campaign is now well on the way to the £2,000 mark thanks to your generous donations and photos - and support is flooding in from every corner of Wirral!

The latest picture we received for SAM arrived from a stable in Thurstaston. After reading about Wirral Hospital's desperate need for an MRI scanner, Daniel the horse had a long face and decided to take action, sending in his donation in return for a modelling spot in our latest issue.

We are also appealing for companies to get involved in the same way. Simply get a group of you together and have a picture taken outside your workplace. Each person on the photograph puts in their five pounds, which means a larger donation for the appeal in return for not only five minutes of fame but free publicity for your company.

Remember, if one thousand companies donated a thousand pounds the million needed for the scanner would be met.

So whether you be young or old, with two legs or four, keep those photos rolling in and before long we'll be handing over our next bundle of cheques for the next thousand pounds!
