THE wipeout of the weekend rugby union programme with the exception of New Brighton's game has left local clubs with a fixture backlog.
It is hoped for a full resumption this Saturday as Hoylake face their big date at Runcorn in the Tetley Vase. The two are fighting for a place in the last eight of the national competition.
Hoylake beat Runcorn in the league earlier this season but away from home face a difficult task against a strong outfit.
Caldy in North Two have home advantage against struggling Widnes while Birkenhead Park go to Wilmslow and Oldershaw have a cross river derby at St Edwards.
Anselmians, top of South Lancashire/Cheshire Three, should pick up more valuable points away to Ruskin Park.
Birkenhead were scheduled to play at Winnington Park against Northwich in a delayed Cheshire Cup second round match last night (Tuesday).
