HUNDREDS of jobs are still on offer at Halton's giant ICL 2001 computer census centre, it was revealed this week.
The first batch of staff moved into the Catalyst document processing centre on Monday.
The site is expected to be fully operational by March.
Wayne Millhouse, marketing manager at the Employment Service said: "This provides a real opportunity for the people of Halton to gain new skills and employment.
"A range of jobs and training opportunities are still available."
An open day is being held on Saturday, January 27 from 10am-2pm at Widnes job centre, 5 Widnes Road.
Job applications and training can be arranged for anyone interested in this new opportunity.
